Crosby’s Crib

Putting together rooms is one of my favorite hobbies and Crosby’s space was no exception. It all started with the crib and dresser from CeCe’s room (post on her big girl space to come!). We really didn’t want to purchase a second crib, so we were glad we had selected one that worked for any baby!

I also knew I wanted The Snoozer Cream Nursery Glider Chair by Leanne Ford from Crate and Barrel. I am obsessed with the shape, the boucle fabric, and the fact that the ottoman doubles as storage.

I knew early on that I wanted to create a reading area out of this little alcove in his room. When searching for decor ideas on Etsy, I came across these handmaid, mounted animal heads. Initially, I just ordered the lion and then decided I needed all three!

On the adjacent wall, we put up these custom Etsy picture/book ledges. We also have one of their ledges in our family room, they ship pretty quickly, are of great quality, and are easy to hang up!

Not a whole lot happening on this side of the room. Just kept it simple with a dresser and mirror because two different doors open up toward this area. I may add more shelving down the road.

Lastly is his closet. Pretty standard set-up with cube shelving for books, toys and overflow clothing. I really love it in here and cannot wait to watch him grow and play!
