Sutton’s 1st Birthday

I knew the moment I saw this sweet peach theme invite on Etsy that it was the one for Sutton’s 1st Birthday. And wow! We had the best day celebrating our Sweet Peach! We held it at The 905 Room at LeFleur in Washington which was the perfect location. We were able to decorate how we wanted and bring in our own food and drink. They were great hosts and even helped to clean up after! Maria’s Marvelous Decor provided the AMAZING balloon backdrop. She took my theme and made sure it was perfection. We ended up buying a cheap IKEA high chair and decked it out with leg wraps and foot rest from Yeah Baby Goods. I added a name decal for some personalization and I love how cute it turned out!

We ordered the Cake and Cake Pops from The Bakery Bar. Again, we gave her free reign with the theme and I think they turned out perfect! Also, incredibly DELICIOUS. Like, melt in your mouth, delicious. We added our own cake topper from Etsy and candle, again to add to the theme. We always love getting our cookies from Baked Blessing By Lisa. These sugar cookies are always a huge hit and are the absolute CUTEST.

We added these Signs for the food which included sandwiches, chips, fruit salad (with added peaches of course), salad with ranch or peach vinegrette- recipe here, and vanilla yogurt with Safe + Fair birthday cake granola. For drinks we provided water, regular tea, peach tea, and a Peach Sangria-recipe here- which was a huge hit! Instead of moscato we used pinot grigio and added some extra peach seltzer water. It was so good!

Since The 905 Room didn’t really need a whole lot more decor, we just added this sweet Confetti to the tables along with a bowl of peach rings and birthday cake hershey kisses! We also used this peach theme Photo Banner to display Sutton’s monthly pics.

As for the birthday girls ‘fit, we reused a dress we actually bought for Nolyn’s first birthday! I ordered this long sleeve tutu dress from Amazon over 2 years ago and of course it is no longer available but here is a very similar one. I ordered this bow and these booties from Etsy to complete.

Happy first year, Sutton!
