Pickle is has been all the rage around here over the past few months. Almost every restaurant is now serving and I must say, I’m not mad about it. Mike had picked up some really good pickle chips so we decided to give it a try at home!
Ingredients:
- Pre-made pizza dough
- Garlic sauce (homemade or store bought garlic spread from TJs!)
- Fresh dill
- Pickle chips
- Fresh mozzarella cheese, drained and dried
- Shredded cheese (we used the pizza mix from TJ’s)
Instructions:
- Make/mix garlic sauce. Most places use a garlic/dill based alfredo-like cream sauce. I was in a hurry and love to cut corners as much as possible so I just used the garlic spread dip from Trader Joe’s and mixed in fresh dill. It was still delish!
- Roll out pizza dough on floured surface
- Top with garlic sauce, shredded cheese, pickles, and then fresh mozzarella. Be sure the mozzarella is drained and dried well otherwise it will make the pizza soggy. And NO one wants a soggy ‘za!
- Top with more shredded cheese (duh) and fresh dill
- Bake according to directions on pizza dough
This pizza was super garlicky and super delicious. I could probably eat it every single day.
