Happy Monday, friends!! Though we had to cancel CeCe’s big party this year, we did not let that spoil celebrating the weekend! I thought I’d share some of the fun things we did and alllllll of the photos!
We woke CeCe up with a balloon shower and Happy Birthday serenade. (We got this idea from Andi!)
A really special treat was having breakfast as a family on a week day. Keith is typically out the door before Cees wakes up most days. We have pancakes and had her open a couple of gifts…SHOOOOES!
Cecilia then discovered that her playroom got an upgrade! Our big gift to her was a play kitchen and with help from our amazing family she got a table and chairs, a tea set and “food” to stock the fridge.
When I was a kid I can still remember my Aunt/Godmother making me a play kitchen out of cardboard boxes and I absolutely LOVED it. It has been so much fun to see Cees enjoying her (upgraded) play kitchen. Oh, and of course she loved the balloons!
On Saturday, my dad came by and gifted her her first car. To say we’re jealous of her new ride is an understatement. If only they came in my size and that same price!
We then recorded her smash cake session and snacked on her cookies all day. Baked Blessings did an amazing job! Hopefully we will be able to share them with more family and friends next year.
We did a lot of outside play and ending the night at one of our favorites, Publik House.
We had a great weekend and cannot believe our girl is already one! We are so excited to see what she does next. Cheers to you, Cecilia. We love you!
